Milagro Verde is a Peruvian chicha/cumbia band born
out of the heart of Bushwick, NY. Milagro Verde is
bringing back the original psychedelic cumbia sound,
which was born in the 1970's in their home country of
Peru.
The band pays tribute to their favorite bands who
inspired them to perform this type of music. Milagro
Verde is doing their part to curate this form of music
known as Chicha (also known as Peruvian Cumbia or
Cumbia Amazońica), playing gigs throughout New York
City and beyond, and keeping the culture alive for
many generations to come. Look out for Milagro Verde,
and feel that tropical vibe.
