SMASH is a nonprofit organization dedicated to keeping our Puget Sound area musicians healthy and thriving by providing access to primary care, dental services, mental health therapy, vision and hearing screening, and other wellness services for working musicians in King, Snohomish, Pierce, Mason, Kitsap, and Thurston counties.

SMASH is here to support musicians’ health. It is free to be a member. SMASH is not a health insurance provider, and if you have insurance, you can still qualify for SMASH services.

Backline is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that connects music industry professionals and their families with mental health and wellness resources. We want to build a safer and more supportive music industry by helping our community access quality mental health care providers that understand this line of work.

Sweet Relief Musicians Fund provides financial assistance to all types of career musicians and music industry workers who are struggling to make ends meet while facing physical or mental health issues, disability, or age-related problems.

MISSION
MusiCares helps the humans behind music because music gives so much to the world.
WHAT WE DO
MusiCares provides a safety net of critical health and welfare services to the music community in three key areas:
Mental Health & Addiction Recovery Services: Support, referrals, and emergency financial assistance for counseling, psychiatric care, inpatient treatment, coaching, intensive outpatient care, sober living and more.
Health Services: Financial assistance during medical crises and preventive services such as dental and medical screenings, hearing clinics, vocal health workshops, and assistance obtaining low-cost health insurance.
Human Services: Support for basic living expenses like rent, utilities, car payments and insurance premiums in times of hardship, plus programs addressing affordable housing, career development, legal issues and senior services.
Ongoing Support Groups: Weekly virtual support groups for addiction recovery & mental health.
Smoking Cessation: Quit smoking support

Billing assistance programs offered through Seattle City Light for electricity, gas, & weatherization.

Kelley-Ross Pharmacy provides complimentary Naloxone shipped to your home.

Basic Food is a food and nutrition program for individuals & families who meet the income guideline (listed at right) afford healthier foods by providing monthly benefits to buy food. Basic Food will also qualify you for Free or Reduced School Meals for your child.

CDCHC welcomes patients from every lifestyle, sexual or gender expression, community and nationality.
We heartily welcome all traditional and non-traditional patients, including families and children, people from every country and lifestyle, those with or without insurance or Medicaid, just out of incarceration, or currently homeless.
We also offer PrEP — an HIV prevention medication – and substance use management. .
